Ninth Letter, an art/lit mag from UIUC, just posted the excellent video Making Basquiat, showing the process that went into publishing my brother’s essay “Basquiat and Six Uses of Space”. It’s a close-to-home example of how typography and design can respect and reflect the content of the text.
